We provide initial site surveys and client consultations to ascertain your building design and restoration service requirements. We pay particular attention to detail to ensure we have an accurate understanding of your timber and oak frame needs in order to translate these into reality. Using computer based design tools our design team can generate a wide range of designs from traditional timber and oak frame structures through to regional framing styles or contemporary frames of any use and size. Should your building design and restoration requirement be straightforward you can purchase an off-the-shelf designed structure or should you require something more suited to your own needs our bespoke designs will accommodate your lifestyle requirements. We can offer both 2D and 3D Working models for your final approval.
We can offer a full planning application service. We will also, as standard, take care of the structural calculations for the building design and restoration service to ensure Building Regulations are met.
We produce structural working drawings to give a complete graphic description of the timber or oak frame to be erected and the construction method to be followed. A set of working drawings includes both general and detail drawings. General drawings consist of plans and elevations; detail drawings consist of sections and detail views. This enables us to produce an accurate costing for the fabrication and site installation of your timber or oak frame. This can be offered as a stand alone service should you wish us to use your own building design or restoration plans.
